The Scientific Affairs Department – Technology Incubation Division at the Southern Technical University, in collaboration with the Higher Education Incubation Division at the Research and Development Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, organized an online course on the second edition of university business incubators. The course, delivered by Mr. Imad Al-Din Hashim Abis, Head of the University Incubators Division at the Ministry’s Research and Development Department, covered topics such as business incubators, cultures and terminology, a historical overview, and the inner workings of business incubators.
The course, which included participants from the Technology Incubation Units within the university as well as participants from various Iraqi universities, aimed to introduce the concept of technology incubation and the methods of incubating projects from their initial stages to the production stages.
