As part of its quest for a more sustainable future, the Continuing Education Centre at the Southern Technical University organized a comprehensive scientific workshop entitled “Water is important: conservation and control of pollutants”, to explore the physical, chemical and biological dimensions of water and its vital role in the balance of the natural environment.
.The workshop focused on the importance of water as an essential resource for life, as well as highlighting the problem of water scarcity in Iraq, which has been exacerbated by climate changes. The discussion addressed how these challenges affect the environment and possible solutions to address them.
The Continuing Education Centre calls on all members of society to participate actively in protecting this valuable resource and to pursue innovative solutions to ensure its sustainability for future generations. The Centre also continues its vital role in promoting awareness and supporting initiatives focused on clean energy and sustainability principles, with a view to building a green and sustainable future.
