The Southern Technical University Presidency, Government Contracts Division, announces the first public auction for leasing the sites listed below in accordance with the State Property Sales and Lease Law No. (21) of 2013, currently in force. The auction will be held at the Southern Technical University Presidency, Government Contracts Division, at 10:00 AM, 30 days after the day following the publication of this announcement. If the auction date coincides with an official holiday, it will be rescheduled for the next working day.
Those wishing to participate in the auction must bring a legal deposit amounting to 20% of the estimated value. Detailed information can be obtained from the Government Contracts Division at the University Presidency to review the terms and property specifications announced on-site before the auction day for a non-refundable fee of 100,000 Iraqi dinars.
The successful bidder will be required to pay a service fee of 2% of the rental value and all fees specified by law under the following conditions:
- The last day to receive applications to participate in the auction is the thirtieth day of the announcement at the latest.
2.The bidder who has breached his obligations under a previous contract withthe university and its formations will be excluded.
3.He must have a trade name or company that has been in existence for a period of no less than five years, or he must have similar work contracted with a local or foreign company.
4.The applicant must have a valid health leave from the Department of Health before participating in the auction.
5.The person to whom the bid is awarded as a student club is obligated to work from seven in the morning until six in the evening in the event of evening studies.
6.To manage the major himself.
7.Not to be prohibited from practicing commercial activity under the laws.
8.To recommend workers upon contracting.
9.Not to claim compensation for holidays and occasions.
10.He must not have any financial dues to the university.
11.Bring a tax clearance certificate for the same year of the auction, the tax ID and the tax number of the auctioneer.
12.Review the Security and Information Permits Office at the University Presidency to obtain a security permit one week before the auction date, otherwise he will not be allowed to participate in the auction.
- Bring a residence approval report from the mayor and a certificate from two witnesses certified by the municipal council or the administrative body to which it belongs.
14 .Bring a proof of residence showing the exact address and the nearest point indicating the residence.
- Bring a certificate of no criminal record for the bidder, according to his governorate.
- Required documents: original and color copy of Iraqi nationality certificate – civil status ID or unified card – ration card – residence card.
