Southern Technical University signs a cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Society for Medical Research and Studies

Under the patronage and attendance of the President of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and the consultant physician, Dhurgham Arif Al-Ajoudi, the Southern Technical University, represented by the President of the Technical University, signed a scientific and cultural cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Society for Medical Research and Studies, represented by the President of the Society, to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs. The agreement included four articles on the mechanism of cooperation and what the Southern Technical University and the Iraqi Society provide, provided that neither party is subject to any financial obligations as a result of signing this agreement. The President of the Southern Technical University welcomed this agreement and considered it one of the means and programs of the university’s communication with the community on a vital and realistic issue

Stressing that: We seek to provide a real service that society needs and fills its need in one of the fields, and drugs are a dangerous scourge that threatens our society, so we are striving with great efforts from everyone to combat it and limit its spread. In turn, Dr. Dhurgham Al-Ajoudi expressed his deep gratitude for the high response from the Southern Technical University and the great cooperation shown by the President of the University in the field of combating drugs and in any other field that benefits Iraqi society. A number of staff from the Southern Technical University and the Iraqi Society attended the signing ceremony of the agreement
