The Women Empowerment Unit at the Institute held a voluntary campaign to plant 50 palm trees in the courtyards of our Institute. This campaign coincides with the Iraqi Tree Planting Day. The Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Muwaffaq Abdul Aziz Al-Hasawi, the Assistant Dean, M.M. Turki Diwan Hussein, the Head of the aforementioned Unit, M.D. Sofia Razzaq Ali Al-Tamimi, and some students from the Department of Surveying Technology participated in it. The Head of the Agricultural Fields and Gardens Unit at the Institute and some professors supervised the planting. The goal of the campaign is to achieve a university environment that provides us with a food basket to transform with rapid steps into a sustainable university.
