The volunteer work team at the Basra Engineering Technical College , held a planting and maintenance campaign for the college’s gardens, in accordance with the directives of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Laila Balasim Hashem.
The periodic campaign includes planting various agricultural seedlings and maintaining the college’s gardens in order to preserve the general environment. It aims to spread the culture of agricultural awareness among members and students, reduce pollution, and combat emissions.
It is worth noting that the college periodically carries out afforestation and maintenance campaigns for the green environment.
