Southern Technical University organizes a workshop on biofuels as the most important source of renewable energy

The College of Health and Medical Technologies within the Southern Technical University organized a workshop on biofuels as the most important source of renewable energy, in Ibn Sina Hall. The workshop, in which the lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, Dr. Shorouk Abdul Razzaq Hassan, included an introduction to biofuels as a type of renewable energy. Derived from biomass, which includes organic products from plants and animals.

This workshop aims to develop awareness about biofuels, or what is known as bioenergy, as a source of renewable energy, bring about the necessary change in behavior, and provide opportunities for all researchers to play their role in protecting and improving the environment. The workshop concluded by finding a consensus charter for biofuels with an effective and acceptable formula that achieves a balance between biofuel production and food security and accelerates research focusing on fuel production from wood, herbs and plant waste.
