The President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashem Al-Abbasi, opened a center for environmental and pollution researches at Basra Engineering Technical college.
The center contains two specialized laboratories, research halls, others for meetings, and a wing for the center’s management, which works on preparing research that serves the fields of environment and pollution and provides advisory and technical services to researchers and graduate students, as well as to government institutions specialized in this field, with the important scientific and technical competencies it carries.
