Under the sponsorship of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, a futsal tournament was held at the Nasseria Technical Institute field, with six teams participating from March 5th to March 7th. The participating teams competed honorably for the championship title. The closing ceremony was attended by the dean of the Nasseria Technical Institute, the dean of the Shatrah Technical College, and a crowd of students and attendees. The tournament concluded with the Technical Institute of Architecture team winning against the host, the Nasseria Technical Institute, with a score of six goals to one. The Technical Institute of Basra secured the third position. It’s worth noting that the newly established Sports Activities Department has prepared a schedule for various sports activities to train university teams in different games, preparing them for upcoming competitions in the university’s sports agenda.
