The Southern Technical University signed a cooperation agreement with the General Company for Electric Power Production in the Southern Region, where it was signed by the University President, Prof. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and the company’s General Manager, Chief Engineer, Mr. Mahdi Saleh Muthur. The University President explained during the signing ceremony that the agreement was activated before the start of its conclusion and is one of the products of the Industrial Advisory Council and pointed out that cooperation with the industrial sector is part of the university’s goals and mission, stressing that we need practical experience and technical competencies just as the company needs scientific and academic competence and asha. It is noteworthy that the agreement stipulated the activation of cooperation in the field of scientific research by providing research support sites as well as sharing technical and technical issues that can be converted into scientific research or graduation projects for students. The agreement also included cooperation in the field of development and training by designing job training programs for students in order to provide them with the required experience.
