The Southern Technical University discussed ways of joint cooperation with the UNESCO office of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Basra Governorate. This came during a meeting at the Continuing Education Center that included the University President, Prof. Adnan Abdullah Atiq and his assistant for scientific affairs, as well as the director of the missions and cultural relations department and the scientific affairs department, in addition to the director of the Continuing Education Center, while the director of the UNESCO advisory office for projects in Basra Governorate attended the meeting and reviewed the work plan for the UNESCO office to build capacity for young people to engage them in promising projects through programs that generate income.
