Under the patronage of the University President Prof. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations at the Southern Technical University, hosted a visiting professor Dr. Hussein Ahmed, Director of Training and Development at Northwest Education and Training, who delivered a lecture entitled “Technical Education is the main tributary to serve the community”. The lecture, which was attended by the assistants of the University President as well as the deans of some formations and department directors, included topics including technical education and its difference from academic education, vision and strategies, how to develop skills for technical students and provide skilled manpower.
