The Continuing Education Center within the Southern Technical University organized a course on how to benefit from the virtual library. The course, which was lectured by teacher Sarah Abdullah Muslim, included the types of libraries and their importance for researchers, including the virtual library, the importance of databases and the mechanism for accessing their applications through cyberspace. The course, which was attended by a number of affiliates, aims to train them on how researchers can access millions of articles, periodicals and other scientific books, in addition to introducing the Iraqi virtual library and identifying its technical and engineering content. The course concluded that this type of libraries benefit teachers by registering in them, for the purpose of developing their scientific information and benefiting from the existing books and periodicals that are difficult to obtain in other libraries.University Media
