Within the framework of scientific and research cooperation and opening horizons of joint understanding between our university and other universities, the Southern Technical University signed a letter of understanding with the Iranian University of Petroleum and Technology. The letter, signed on the Iraqi side by the university president, Prof. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, and on the Iranian side by the university president, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Jahar Dooley, aims to open the horizons of academic cooperation, exchange scientific expertise, training students and teaching staff, in addition to cooperation in the field of joint scientific research and exchange research visits that contribute to the development of the scientific aspects of both universities, Atiq stressed the university’s keenness to enhance cultural and scientific cooperation with other universities, which in turn will reflect positively on the level of technical performance for all, pointing out that there are letters of understanding and scientific visits that the
