The President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, followed up on the field the needs of the internal departments of the university’s students, where he reviewed the work carried out related to sewers and directed his sovereignty to reduce all difficulties by contacting the Basra Governorate Sewerage Directorate, which contributed to addressing the situation resulting from the cessation of the work of the departments’ sewers in Medina. Until the implementation of an integrated project that includes the entire complex, Atiq directed the workers in the internal departments to the importance of following up on cleanliness and maintaining it so that it is suitable for the housing of our students. On a related level, the President of the University instructed the transfer of the administration of the internal departments to the location of the internal departments for students to be within its geographical area for the purpose of addressing the problems as quickly as necessary, The President of the University was accompanied on this tour by his Assistant for Administrative Affairs and the Dean of the Basra Technical Institute, as well as the directors of the follow-up, construction and projects departments and the officials of the engineering divisions at the Institute and the Engineering Technical College, in addition to the internal departments.
