The volunteer team affiliated with the Department of Nursing Technology at the Basra Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University organized an awareness campaign about preserving public property, under the slogan (Public property belongs to everyone and preserving it is a national duty). The campaign, which coincided with our people’s celebrations of Victory Day, included the distribution of identification pieces on public property, including Streets, parks, libraries, hospitals, schools, and universities, as well as how to maintain them. For his part, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Arkan Yaqoub Yousif, stated that the Deanship of the Institute encourages initiatives that care about the community and help provide services to it, pointing out that the volunteer team in the Nursing Department has many service works that have contributed significantly. It is noteworthy to show the patriotic and social sense of the street in Basra Governorate. One of the participants in this campaign pointed out the importance of such actions as they are voluntary and in the interest of society, pointing out that we saw great encouragement from the citizens and their high keenness to implement this initiative.
