The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Nasiriyah Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Department in Thi Qar Governorate and the Plant for a More Beautiful Homeland team, and with the participation of a number of young talents, organized a charity exhibition (bazaar). This is within the 16-day campaign to combat violence against women and under the slogan (Economic empowerment is a weapon to confront violence against women). The exhibition included handicrafts, food, artistic paintings, and cultural, social, and scientific books. The Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Khawam Raysan Hussein, opened the exhibition’s activities, indicating that the opening of such exhibitions It serves young energies, including women, and invests in their creativity It develops their skills, as well as encourages handicrafts and develops them to be an important economic interface.
