Member of the Iraqi Parliament, Representative Haitham Abdul-Jabbar Al-Fahd, extended his congratulations to the President of the University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, on the occasion of assuming the duties of President of the Southern Technical University. This came during his meeting with the Representative, and during the meeting, the work of the university was reviewed and the worthy steps that await it in light of the work directives. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and within the government program for consolidating values, goals, principles, rights and legal duties in all state departments, the President of the University explained to his guest that Iraqi universities were and still are an important tributary of education in society, pointing to their importance in supplying the labor market with promising youth energies.
