The Southern Technical University signed a memorandum of understanding with Bucharest Polytechnic University in Romania. This came during the university’s hosting of a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of the university by a member of the visiting delegation, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Dr.ayad Abdul Khaleq Yahya, and the signed memorandum included the exchange of scientific expertise. Giving lectures, in addition to attending conferences, seminars, and workshops that aim to internationalize higher education in Iraq. On a related level, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Alaa Farid Abdul-Ahad, handed over a copy of this memorandum to Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashem Al-Abbasi, President of the University, during the latter’s meeting with the Director of the Affairs Department.
