The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Nasiriyah Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University organized a workshop on digital economic empowerment for women and how to secure platforms and electronic marketing. The workshop, which was lectured by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Ali Khalaf Kataa, aims to introduce the importance of electronic marketing and how to use platforms specialized in this shopping and secure it, as well as knowing the importance of platforms and promoting them digitally, in addition to how to use the best methods in digital marketing with the aim of delivering the appropriate product to customers at the appropriate time. . The workshop concluded that the large number of these platforms creates the possibility of advertising on them easily, which contributes to expanding the work of electronic stores through the use of social networking sites, which increases the number of customers. The workshop also stressed the necessity of securing and protecting electronic stores, protecting customer information from piracy operations, and providing good information security.
