Engineering Technical college of Basra , within the Southern Technical University, discussed ways of joint cooperation with ExxonMobil and the Basra Oil Company. This came during the reception of the Dean of the engineering technical college of Basra , Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, a high-level delegation from two companies.
The two parties discussed ways of joint cooperation and the possibility of working on equipping laboratories and engineering workshops with training equipment to qualify students and provide community service.
In addition to examining the compatibility of applied and theoretical training curricula and preparing them according to modern technical requirements and in a way that suits the needs of companies
The delegation inspected laboratories, classrooms, and engineering workshops, and was briefed on the training courses and scientific activities at the college.
From his part, the Dean of the College explained that the delegation of the two companies stressed the importance of creating multiple partnerships between educational institutions and the management of companies operating in the governorate, aiming to keep pace with developments in the labor market and create training opportunities for students and graduates.
