The Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Alaa Farid Abdul-Ahad, met in his office with a joint ministerial committee with the National Oversight Authority to inspect the college’s health and medical laboratories. The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Oversight Authority, and the competent authorities to follow up on the implementation of the procedures and standards evaluation program. Concerning biosecurity and biological safety in the educational laboratories of the medical and health departments of the university’s formations. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mahmood Salem Thamer, the official of the Division of Occupational Safety and Chemical and Biological Security, as well as the Director of the Follow-up Department.
