The Division of Studies and Planning at the College of Health and Medical Technologies within the Southern Technical University, in cooperation with the Second Police College, organized a scientific symposium on the facts and concepts of gender. The symposium, in which the head of the Department of Trainers’ Preparation at the college, Fouad Mohser Jassim, addressed the definition and clarification of the meaning of gender, its concept, and social characteristics and traits. In addition to its effects on society from political, social and intellectual aspects, scarcity aims to define the presence of the social gender or condition in which a man or woman is and its specific relationship to the social and cultural roles that society deems appropriate for men and women. The symposium concluded that it is not permissible to use this concept, especially since it conflicts with the system of values and the legal foundations of society. It recommended the necessity of the family following up on its children and providing society with methods of educational and religious education, modifying the behavior of the individual and his involvement with society.
