In the presence of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashim Al-Abbasi, the building of the Department of Information Technology Management was opened at the College of Administrative Technology in Basra. The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of the deans of the university formations in the governorates of Basra, Maysan, and Thi Qar. The new building included specialized study halls and laboratories in light of the department’s application of the Bologna educational system, Dean. College Assistant Professor Dr. Jaber Hussein Ali Bean informed us that the college’s plan includes many infrastructure projects that will be implemented later, in addition to the projects under implementation, which will hopefully add new study halls and others for conferences, the work of which will have an impact on the progress of the educational process. The Dean pointed out that the department Information technology management is one of the scientific departments at the university, in which the Bologna educational path is applied, which is the educational system approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and which has been applied in many Iraqi universities.
