The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Technical College of Maysan within the Southern Technical University, in cooperation with the Italian TDH organization, held a symposium on raising children and building personality. The symposium, in which social researchers Reyam Fadhel Saddam and Zahraa Amir Touma lectured, included topics including modern education methods, cases of autism, and how to build a strong personality for the child. As well as the methods that help build it. The symposium aims to introduce participants to modern scientific methods in the psychological and social structure of children, in addition to the effects of the surrounding environment on their personality. The symposium concluded with recommendations, the most important of which are sharing the child’s interests, helping him shape his personality, and the importance of practicing gentle parenting with him, avoiding cruelty, and instilling a positive mentality in him.
