The Southern Technical University discussed ways of joint cooperation with the Jaafar Al-Tayyar Center for Physical and Psychological Treatment and Rehabilitation of the Wounded of the Security Forces, including the Army and Police, as well as the wounded of the Popular Mobilization Forces. This came during a meeting with the President of the University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashem Al-Abbasi, with a delegation from the center. Al-Abbasi expressed the university’s readiness, with all its training capabilities, to serve those wishing to be treated in this center for the purpose of training and qualifying them. The President of the University explained that cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Medicine of the Authority’s Social Protection Directorate in Basra Governorate will be distinguished by providing scientific training services to the auditors and restoring their capabilities and qualifications, which will enhance their self-confidence and be an incentive for them to work and produce. For its part, the visiting delegation expressed its great gratitude for the warm reception and generous hospitality, wishing the university, its students and its members success and success as it constitutes an important scientific hub and a supportive channel for all.
