The College of Health and Medical Technology within the Southern Technical University organized a training course on maternal and childhood care. The course, in which lecturer Maha Abdul Redha Mohsen lectured, included topics including the concept of care, the importance of examination and attention to women’s health before pregnancy, as well as their care during pregnancy and the most important necessary vaccines and nutritional supplements, in addition to Taking care of their postpartum health. The course aims to learn about the concept of maternal and child care and its most important goals, and how to spread health awareness to the community and to mothers about taking care of health before and during pregnancy. The course concluded with the importance of guiding and directing mothers to take care of their health before pregnancy and during pregnancy to ensure the birth of a healthy child, as well as to ensure early diagnosis of any health problem, treat it early, and enhance their mental and physical health.
