The President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashem Al-Abbasi, met in his office with the Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Basra Branch, Dr. Dhia Al-Fakiki, and his accompanying delegation.

Pointing out that the doors of the university are open to all good efforts that serve the educational process and enhance the role of professors, indicating that the role of university professors is a role that deserves praise for the efforts and scientific activities they provide that serve the service of education.
From his part, Al-Fakiki expressed his happiness at this meeting, stressing that the Southern Technical University is considered an important component of technical education in Iraq and has a remarkable presence at the scientific and societal levels.
Praising the role of the university’s leadership and wishing its members and students success and progress, at the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the University presented the University Shield to the Captain. The meeting was attended by the Director of the University President’s Office, as well as the representative of the Academics Syndicate and the Director of the Media and Government Communications Department.
