Southern Technical University held a series of meetings with Nectom Systems to open the IELTS testing center for English language tests. This came during a meeting via cyberspace that included the Director of the Continuing Education Center and the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, as well as the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department.

The director of the center, Dr. Maher Talib Al-Shamkhani, explained to our media that these meetings came based on the directives of the university president, in addition to the ministry’s directives regarding the possibility of contracting with approved companies to open centers for English language tests.
Pointing out that these meetings culminated in the signing of the agreement and the university obtaining the authorization that enables it to hold exams and tests for postgraduate students and those wishing to study outside Iraq.
