The College of Health and Medical Technologies, in coordination with the Women’s Empowerment Division and in cooperation with the Second Police College, organized a lecture on the principles of security work. The awareness lecture, which was moderated by Police Colonel Fouad Mohser Jassim, aimed to focus on the violations, actions and behaviors issued by those charged with the duties of the job, as well as on attacks on Employees assigned to public services by citizens (civilian_military), What are the appropriate methods, procedures and legal remedies to be followed when a breach occurs?
The lecture, which was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Majed Abdul-Wahab Maatouq, the Head of the Department of Community Health Technologies, the Head of the Women’s Empowerment Division at the University, the Director of the University President’s Office, Dr. Alaa Abdul-Zahra, and a number of professors, affiliates and students of the College included.
It included topics including introducing the principles of security work, its most important characteristics and advantages, in addition to the legal procedures followed when exposed to threats or assault. The lecture summarized the definition of the importance of the Iraqi Penal Code No. 111 of 1969 and touched on Articles (229-232) related to threats and attacks on employees assigned to public service.
