Three scientific teams from the Southern Technical University participated in the preparatory workshop for the Bologna Educational Track Conference, which was called for by UNESCO through its office in the capital, Baghdad. The workshop included a presentation of joint reports on the new degree programs, challenges, successes, implemented quality assurance procedures, and modern plans, and a presentation of the most important challenges facing the two teams, as well as the problems and proposing appropriate solutions to them. The workshop reached the importance of distributing the participating teams to groups of participating universities, for the purpose of writing the final report and answering the questions posed by UNESCO, in addition to expanding the new learning and teaching model to include other programs. It is noteworthy that the three teams representing the university are the quality team represented by Dr. Raed Abdul Zahra Abdul Redha, the assistant teacher Azhar Abdel Mahbasan, the curriculum team represented by Dr. Zaid Alaa Hussein, the teacher Dr. Mohannad Shaker Khand, the internationalization team represented by Dr. Ayad Abdul Khaleq, Dr. Narges Fares Abdullah, and the assistant teacher Hadeel Khaled Shaian.
