Southern Technical University participated in the symposium held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the role of university leaders in applying institutional accreditation standards. The university’s Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mahmood Salem Thamer, attended its activities. The symposium attended by the Technical Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, the Head of the Supervision Department, and Scientific evaluation, a number of presidents of public and private universities, and some specialists in quality assurance, institutional and program performance,
The mechanism for applying institutional accreditation standards and the extent of its impact on ensuring the quality to which we aspire. The symposium also included an introduction to institutional accreditation and comprehensive evaluation processes for various curricula and human resources, as well as scientific research and community service.
