The Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the Continuing Education Center within the Southern Technical University organized a training workshop on self-employment via the Internet. The workshop, in which the director of the center, Dr. Maher Talib Abdel Zahra, lectured, included topics including how to build a private account for work and enabling trainers to invest their skills in self-employment, in addition to introducing the most famous Arab and international freelance sites and how to work in them. The workshop aims to train participants and introduce them to self-employment strategies and the secrets of making a profit online. In addition, this work seeks to find the best ways to achieve economic empowerment for young people. The workshop concluded that self-employment via the Internet provides an independent opportunity to carry out specific tasks that are agreed upon to be performed by the person with the skill.
