Southern Technical University is ranked 42nd in the Webometrics ranking of more than a hundred Iraqi universities and colleges
The Southern Technical University has achieved the 42nd place in the Webometrics ranking of more than a hundred Iraqi universities and colleges, and 31,000 educational institutions have been ranked for more than 200 countries around the world according to indicators that measure the virtual attendance of universities through their sites and indicate the percentage of clarity (50%), transparency (10%) and the strength and excellence of research 40%, assistant rector for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Alaa Farid Abdul-Ahad this world ranking, which indicated the presence of our university within the Position42 and competed with important Iraqi and Arab universities, and this is an important indicator calculated for the University, pointing out that our ambition is greater than that and the philanthropic activity of the University’s children will have an important presence in other world rankings. It is noteworthy that the University of Baghdad came to the center (1571) globally, followed by the Universities of Diyala, al-Mustansiriya, Qadisiya, Mosul, Kufa, technological, Babylon, Anbar and other Iraqi universities indicated by the official website of the classification of the higher Center for scientific research in Spain
