asra Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University held a workshop on the government accounting system, titled Practical Applications in the government accounting system and the mechanism of working on it. The workshop, which was attended by the Finance Division official at the teaching institute Mortadha Bandar, aims to enhance the capabilities and skills of Finance Division members in approving the state general budget and introducing the responsibilities and tasks that the Finance Division undertakes, down to the level of units, as well as introducing the types of accounting records used the main and sub-as well as documents used in exchange and credit settlement operations, in addition to conducting practical and applied cases in how to deal with financial transactions and record them in the records and conduct monthly reconciliation operations. The workshop, in which accountants and auditors participated, concluded by explaining the organizational structure of the Department, familiarizing themselves with the accounting records and how to register in them, as well as reviewing the methods of organizing and fixing a disbursement record in the unified accounting system and records
