On behalf of the President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashem Thajil Al-Abbasi, the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Alaa Farid Abdul-Ahad, attended the fourth meeting of the Steering Committee of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Reform Project in Iraq, TVET, the second phase.
In coordination with the representative of the European Union and the UNESCO office in Iraq, Abdul Ahad stated that the attendees discussed the stages of implementation and progress of projects and the achievements achieved in the field of rehabilitation and training in each of the ministries of education/vocational education.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Council of Advisors in the Council of Ministers, in addition to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Advisor to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the heads of technical universities in Iraq and representatives About the Ministry of Planning and the Private Sector.
