The Center for Continuing Education at the Southern Technical University organized a university leadership development course on electronic and information governance skills for ladies and gentlemen, assistant deans, department directors, and officials of divisions and units in the university’s formations within Basra Governorate. The course, which was taught by the Head of the Control and Automation Department at the Basra Technical College of Engineering, Dr. Issa Ahmed Abd, in addition to the Director of the Computer Center at the Southern Technical University, Dr. Haider Yaqoub, aims to identify electronic governance systems and information transfer, as well as introduce mechanisms and methods for applying governance in educational institutions. This course is part of the 20% university leadership development plan for the first training phase, which was determined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
