The fifteenth session of the academic year 2022/2023 was held at the Southern Technical University, in the presence of the Council’s members. On behalf of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Alaa Farid Abdul-Ahad, his assistant for scientific affairs, represented the President of the University in attending and managing the session. He welcomed the attendees, explaining the most important instructions and directives regarding the end of the exams and genealogy. The Council reviewed the results of the competitive examinations for applicants to postgraduate studies, which were distributed among the engineering, health, and administrative specializations, wishing them success and the method of their management, and at all levels. The Council also reviewed the book of the Ministry of Higher Education. And scientific research regarding the Computer Systems Department in the technical institutes in order to change its name to Checking Technologies and Computer Software, as it is a technological department and not an administrative one. The university’s readiness to implement the Bologna educational path as a study system from the year 2023/2024 was also discussed, after which the Council reviewed the most important items on the agenda and made recommendations.
