In the presence of the University President and the assistants, as well as the deans of the formations, the thirteenth session of the University Council for the academic year 2022/2023 was held at the Southern Technical University. The session was opened by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashim Al-Abbasi, with directives on administrative and service work and their follow-up with the deans of the formations and the importance of emphasizing these aspects as they are in direct contact with students and affiliates. Al-Abbasi stressed following up on the evening working hours for workers in the administrative and technical field and His Excellency’s affirmation of their performance in the job. The council discussed preparations for the final exams by preparing all the requirements for their success. The attendees also discussed the evaluation exam and the success rates achieved from that. The attendees reviewed the stages of completing and updating the curricula in the departments of engineering technical colleges to implement the Bologna educational path, in addition to reviewing the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the return of postgraduate students to academic seats. The attendees then discussed the items on the agenda and made recommendations
