The Southern Technical University achieves the standards goals of the United Nations for sustainable development for the year 2022, as the university entered the level of the region + 1001 among 1406 international universities that were classified for more than 85 countries.
The central international rankings unit at the university indicated that the Southern Technical University sequence came locally in center 42 among 47 Iraqi universities that entered the classification, thus our university recorded its entry into the world rankings for the first time within this year.
The Times Impact classification for this year included several indicators concerned with the issues of advancement in the field of education.
The unit indicated that these indicators are among the most important global performance indicators and the only one that evaluates universities in accordance with the United Nations sustainable goals (SDGs). It is noteworthy that the university has achieved 17 of the required goals in the field of health, equality in education and between races, and the reduction of inequalities.
