The tenth session of the University Council for the academic year 2022/2023 was held in the Southern Technical University,
It was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Rabee Hashem Al-Abbasi
And the assistants and deans of the formations of the province of Basra in attendance, It was attended electronically by the formations of the governorates of Thi Qar and Maysan.
The session included the directives of the university president, in addition to discussing the price moderation committee, in addition to discussing the implementation of the Bologna educational path.
The meeting discussed the curriculum of the periodic meeting of technical universities, preparing students accepted and registered at the university, as well as studying the conversion of technical institutes into technical colleges (polytechnics).
The meeting was also briefed on the preparations for the scientific conference of the Omara Technical Institute in partnership with the College of Engineering at Maysan University
After that, the attendees discussed the items included in the agenda, and the necessary recommendations and decisions were taken.
