The women’s Empowerment unit at the Faculty of Health and medical technologies within the Southern Technical University discussed a dialogue seminar on innovation and technology for gender equality. The seminar, which was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Basra University, assistant professor Dr. Salma Abdul Baqi Mahmood, included the most prominent experiences, opportunities and challenges related to the title of innovation and technology in promoting gender-based equality, as well as challenges related to the use of innovation and technology in promoting gender-based equality, as well as the role of women in society at various political, economic, social and cultural levels. The seminar concluded that it is necessary to raise the level of awareness of the community and the family in order to change the stereotype and enhance women’s access to job opportunities, training and services in various fields
