The Basra Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University organized a scientific course on the effects of wireless devices, in the presence of the assistant dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, and a number of associates and students. Modern and serious health problems that result from frequent exposure to electromagnetic radiation emitted by telecommunications towers, the internet, home routers, mobile phones and jammers. The seminar recommended at the end of its work not to build communication towers near or above residential houses or in schools, universities and hospitals and follow-up commitment to the transmission capacity of communication towers according to the internationally permitted limits, as well as not to excessive use of mobile devices to avoid diseases and serious health problems, including cancer of the brain, eye, thyroid glands, throat, back problems, hands, itchy skin, fatigue, forgetfulness and others
