The president of the University, Prof. Dr. Rabiee Hashim Abbasi, met in his office the representatives of the contracts at the Basra Technical Institute who were installed on the permanent staff and blessed them with new administrative and scientific positions. This came during the delegation’s visit to His Excellency, where they presented a bouquet of roses and a commemorative shield in recognition and appreciation of the fatherly and humanitarian role adopted by the president of the University. Abbasi, in his speech, stressed the importance of caring for young scientific, technical and administrative energies in order to enhance the role of the University in providing the educational system to serve the community, pointing out that the new cadres who have recently joined will be an additional support for our university in all its formations, and concluded his speech with good luck and success to them, asking God to save everyone.
