For the fourth year, the Southern Technical University achieved a distinguished presence within the Nature Index for sober research production
This distinction comes after the valuable efforts in stimulating scientific research and giving the status owed to our researchers by the presidency of the university to achieve the goals set by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its continuous affirmation in supporting Iraqi science and scientists in all universities and institutions of the country.
The President of the University, Prof.Dr. Rabee Hashem Al-Abbasi, indicated that this indicator measures the solid scientific production of international institutions and universities by calculating the number of articles published by educational, scientific and research institutions for different countries.
It is classified according to the preparation of articles and scientific research published in high-quality scientific journals that specialize in the fields of pure sciences, such as physics, chemistry and natural life sciences.
