The Assistant President of the Southern Technical University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Alaa Farid Abdul-Ahad, met the directors of the Continuing Education Center and the Computer Center, Assistant Professor Aqil Mohammed Ali and Dr. Haider Yaqoub.
During the meeting, they discussed the requirements for establishing training programs, proficiency tests for English and Arabic, and computers for applicants for postgraduate studies, as well as reviewing training programs for teaching methods, qualification, employment and other programs.
Abdul Ahad was briefed on the university’s preparations regarding activating the consultancy unit for the joint program with the European Union represented by UNESCO, stressing the need to enhance openness to society and partners through training programs.
As well as providing the appropriate atmosphere to conduct exams for applicants for postgraduate studies inside Iraq in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the directives of the Presidency of the University.
At the same time, he praised the benevolent and distinguished efforts of the workers in each of the two centers and the Rehabilitation and Employment Division. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Missions and Cultural Relations Department, Dr. Narges Faris, in addition to the Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Dr.Ayad Abdul-Khaleq.
