The Technical College of Engineering in Basra within the Southern Technical University organized a workshop on the strategy of combating drugs.
The workshop in which the Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Basra Governorate Police Command, Brigadier General Basem Ghanem Al-Maliki, taught, in which he explained the strategies that must be implemented according to the requirements of the social environment.
Which is focused on more education against the phenomenon of drug spread by involving universities in education on this important axis.
In addition to providing psychological support to drug users in order to recover the victims to ensure the safety of society from various social diseases.
From his part, the Dean of the College confirmed the readiness of the educational institution to host conferences and seminars that are concerned with community service, including combating drugs, rehabilitating young people and achieving their ambitions, as well as working within voluntary teams in order to combat this dangerous scourge.
