The Department of Medical Laboratories, in cooperation with the Women Empowerment Unit at the Technical Institute of Omarah within the Southern Technical University, held a workshop on the culture of tolerance and its role in strengthening social relations.
The workshop aims to define the meaning of tolerance, as it is a human virtue that must be inculcated in the souls and consciences of people and its impact on strengthening social relations between the classes of society.
The workshop included axes, including the types and characteristics of the culture of tolerance, in addition to the culture of tolerance in Iraqi society. The workshop organizers called for the necessity of addressing the social problems that the Iraqi personality suffers from, working to spread the foundations of the spirit of love in the hearts of individuals, strengthening the bonds of social relations, urging on forgiveness and non-retaliation, and uprooting the roots of hatred, aggression from the souls of individuals, leading to social integration.
