The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Rabie Hashem Al-Abbasi, met with the heads of departments at the Technical Institute of Basra, and during this meeting he stressed the importance of implementing projects and setting priorities for them to serve students and affiliates.
Pointing out the need to work in the spirit of one team and to be fully prepared to perform the final exams for this year and to overcome all difficulties for its success.
Al-Abbasi directed to follow up on what has been accomplished during the past period and to enhance the capabilities that serve everyone.
He also listened to all the problems and obstacles raised by the heads of departments and their need for exam requirements and promised to solve it before the exams start so that the institute is ready for this important purpose.
It is reported that the President of the University practices his work from a lower position as Dean at the Technical Institute of Basra.
