The Scientific Division of the Qurna Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University organized a symposium on intellectual security and the responsibility of educational staff to achieve it within the annual plan of the National Program for the Development of Security Awareness with the participation of a number of employees and students of the Institute.
The symposium, which was lectured by the teacher, Israa Mahmood Haidar, the head of the division, included several topics, including the definition of the dangers of intellectual deviation and its consequences,
The responsibility of maintaining security and the safety of the community, as well as the role of the educational staff in promoting the spirit of citizenship, in addition to guiding students to prevent crime in ways that ensure the safety and security of the student.
The symposium aims to the importance and role of educational cadres in spreading culture among students and raising their awareness about intellectual security, as well as developing students’ attitudes to maintain their personal security.
